Food Technology Corporation’s tenderometers are durable, dedicated instruments for texture analysis, originally to determine the maturity of fresh peas. The TU-12 is portable and ideal for use in the field. The sample is simply loaded, the start button pressed and the texture analyzer runs the cycle, automatically calculating the peak force and work, displayed in tenderometer units. The Kramer CS-1 compression shear cell is supplied as standard.
